Open Call for Applications to the Positions of Associated Editors

The purpose of this call is to encourage applications for the position of Associate Editor of the Journal of Theoretical, Computational and Applied Mechanics (JTCAM), the only overlay diamond open access journal in Mechanics. All researchers in the field of solid mechanics are welcome to apply.

A board of associate editors is responsible for the entire editorial process, from evaluation to final decision. To ensure transparency and openness, associate editors are selected by the scientific board following an open call to the community. Each associate editor is appointed for a period of four years and may be reappointed.

The applications have to be approved by the Scientific Board, who elect the members of the Editorial Board with great care, taking into account gender balance and field of expertise. Representation from different continents will be favoured. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to Open Science principles.
